About the ban on trash streams.

In recent days, there have been especially many requests to find a solution that will effectively combat the phenomenon of trash streams.
These are broadcasts on the Internet during which illegal acts are committed demonstrating cruelty, sadism, abuse of people and animals, usually with the aim of earning money and increasing their audience.

One of the latest such cases was when a blogger, in pursuit of views, decided to throw his two-month-old baby into a snowdrift, filming it all on camera and putting it on display.

The State Duma is discussing a number of legislative initiatives to solve this problem:
📌 it is proposed to classify trash streams as information prohibited for distribution;
📌 social networks will be required to monitor such content and delete it;
📌 organizers and participants of trash streams will be fined up to 700 thousand rubles with the confiscation of equipment for broadcasting;
📌 the fact of conducting such broadcasts will become an aggravating circumstance , as well as a qualifying feature under ten articles of the Criminal Code (including murder, intentional harm to health, beatings, torture, kidnapping, use of slave labor).

We will consider bills banning trash streams during the spring session as a priority.
These measures will discourage anyone who wants to make money and become famous on the Internet by bullying others.
