Couple of Pictures for Monday, October 27th, 2014…

When I walk in Moscow, Russia; I find interesting obstacles that should never be there. This line of clothes above is at my chest height and blocking the main sidewalk. I know the babushka who did it and the clothes are way above her head and she thinks everyone else is her size. Though Boza did not find the clothes line a problem… 🙂

I thought I would toss in a photo taken at the Egypt international airport. It really was in the zone of everyone who was checked for bombs and guns (notice Duty Free Signs in the background,) but as I watched there was ways to circumvent the security and a whole bunch of locals did just that. That part did not bother me, but what did was the stealing and lowlife crud going on. I watched several times, young men try to tug on women’s purses and see if they would notice that someone was paying attention. Interesting place if you want to study crime. I had plenty of time to watch, as I guarded our bags and Sveta ran around shopping…

Worse than Ukraine by far…

Just some interesting images from our life in Russia…

Why we ended up in Egypt…

I guess I need to explain and that is what I started to do yesterday and I delayed the post until today. I had 10 comments about why I was stupid enough (and many other choice words included,) to go to Egypt when I have talked about the fact that Russia has banned travel to Egypt in the past? The article has one comment left, because it was the only comment that did not call me and Sveta everything but white people and 5 of them included death threats. File thirteen is the appropriate place for trash, therefore they end up in file 13…

Egypt was a byproduct of a rout of tourist companies all over Europe going belly up and we happened to be on the outlier area of the bankruptcies. Our company while sound, lost their charter flights due to lack of participation to Tunisia and we got our money back. Money that was reserving a trip to Tunisia and it was at our favorite spot, but alas it was not to be and no other Tunisia trips were available. At least from Moscow…

Then as it was the last few minutes of the ball game and Sveta had already had vacation approved. We had to find an alternate route. After exhausting all other options we found one chance at warm seas and warm weather; Egypt!

As much as Tunisia is a dream, Egypt was a nightmare. Though I will honestly say that the Red Sea (Sure looked blue to me – very blue! Food color blue!) is probably the most incredible sea I have ever been in and the marine life is just phenomenal. I got to personally explore live coral formations and observe the sea life that lives amongst the coral. There were areas that allowed me to just float with my snorkel and watch a world beneath the waves. The fish come right up and look in you mask as you silently float around. Magnificent…

So it was not a lose, it was just a disappointment to me that should have been a trip of a lifetime. I will say that it makes me totally appreciate Tunisia…

Due to it being Egypt and American controlled, whereas Tunisia is French controlled, I was very silent about going to Egypt. For I knew that issues will arise and I went under the radar, so to speak. This is a sad state of affairs in our world when I can express where I travel as long as it is non U.S affiliated puppet regime…

I was going to also today talk about Blue Light special, but as one commenter put it, “Ha ha, we all love a bargain, but at what price?”

Enough said and I made my point! All Blue Light Specials line up for Egypt, its cheap…

Back Home in Russia from Egypt…

Egypt was excellent for temperatures, Red Sea and food, but that is where it ends. The hotel, which I have not mentioned, was okay, the food was good and the Red Sea was really the cats meow. Then we get to everything else and you find out why I posted very little about what was going on. I very rarely find a country that is pathetic at best and appreciate the world as a whole. This is (Egypt) not one of those spots in the world and I find even Israel ranks higher than Egypt…

I will tell you that if you have a choice to travel to somewhere else and can get there reasonable. Go there, stay away from Egypt. A country that allows people to steal the toilet paper from the bathrooms in the International airport and allows that thief to resell it to you one tiny piece at a time is a country that deserves to be banned from tourism… (This is in the international zone! You know Border area?)

In Egypt; carry everything you might need to do everyday things, for if you don’t you, will find someone trying to sell or get a tip for something that was put there free in the first place. Walking the streets is like walking down a three-ring circus and no one would care if you were accosted…

If you do not pay tips, you will be retaliated upon. Pay small tips and pay them constantly. Tip to breath and tip to keep your life in your hands. The people on the street see any foreigner as a fat milk cow, waiting to be milked for all their money and when you say no; you better be ready for the repercussions…

Egypt is truly the country that you go to a hotel and stay only within the confines of the hotel and only excursions done by the hotel. They all have body guards to protect the fat cows “innocent” and any insurance you have will be denied if you stray from the hotel situation, by one iota…

This is the first time that I have ever run into the tourist situation this extreme…

The epitome of the trip is summed up in what happened when we got to the airport in Egypt to come home. The driver tossed our bags to the ground and as I grabbed one bag and set it upright, a boy had grabbed my other bag and tried to escape around the back of the minivan. I caught him by the elbow and spun him around. He started to stutter and cry out-loud about helping me to the airport (he was going the wrong way when I caught him though.) The driver of the mini van just laughed and walked back to his front seat. How many people’s bags get stolen this way?

Therefore I had to stay very alert the whole trip to minimize our losses and to protect us from retaliation. For I do not tip for no reason and prefer to do 99% of all things myself. I found myself unable to trust the Egyptian people in any form or manner…

Never had that issue in Tunisia and we will not be going back to Egypt for any reason – ever…

I most likely will post more after I settle in, but most of what I wanted to do in Egypt on posting could have been hazardous to our health. Think I will keep Egypt as a memory and not as a forward thinking situation. Somethings need to stay in the past and Egypt is one of them…

Snorkeling in the Red Sea…

20102014318Well I finally got some internet and not much at that. So I will post a few experiment pictures that I am doing. Took an hour to get these photos uploaded and I have better things to do than watch the upload bar move slowly across the screen…

I bought a special sealing bag, made in China and it houses a cellphone, so that you can try to take images in the sea as you are snorkeling. The very top image is one Sveta took as I played deep-sea diver and the next two are images that I (was able to get clear enough to post) took while under water. The phone is just an old Nokia and it did okay…

The one to the right is a Spiny Sea Urchin and he was hanging around for his picture to be taken, I found in the deep water thousands of these things, but they were way to deep to get an image. This one waited until I could get a good shot and then he drifted in the current away to the rest of the pile of them…

20102014324The one to the left is sea weed and other sea creatures that attach themselves to the sea bed and such…

I am not a very good underwater photographer and I am trying. I took lots of pictures and I promise that these are the best I got. Sorry…

I will try again tomorrow, for today Sveta and I took a sea break and went to an aquarium to see good close-ups of the fish that live in the Red Sea and the Nile river. Sveta and I need a break from the constant sun and sea water, for we both tried to over do it…

Sveta took a much-needed nap today and since I got some internet working, I decided to finish this post that I have worked on for two days…

I would say that the Red Sea is just plain incredible, Egypt not so incredible. But that is another day and story to tell. Most likely I will wait to get home to talk about Egypt, just safer that way…

Well I hope that you are having a great day for Sveta and I are and we go play with the coral reefs tomorrow and I really hope that I can get better images…

The west has damaged relations with Russia permanently…

Lets hope “permanent” is the correct word and the word stays as permanently as possible. The severing of ties with the west must continue and it must be finished. No half way about it and no hesitation allowed. The west is already showing signs of back pedaling and the realization that they opened a permanent can of worms, is coming home to roost…

Russia just needs to hold her course and rebuild, minus a western instigation of an immoral cesspool of manifested psychotic and mentally unstable narcissist  Homo demens…

Medvedev stated yesterday that Obama has some mental issues and he is correct. Obama is not just a puppet president, he is the glass bottom boat of those precedents as his lies are his special forte. I think Medvedev is correct and he should know. Obama played him like a fiddle at one time and Medvedev learned the hard way about western trash, such as Obama…

The Russian people have a stable group of leaders and it is extremely sad to see America with such an unstable government, but as I just said above about Homo demens; we get what we desire in our government and we put them there. For we are the same and we have no one to blame but ourselves…

Enough of that, for nothing new about that situation, but lets talk about what Russia should be doing for the future…

Russia needs to dump the dollar, look east and never trust nor believe the west ever again about anything. I have said this before and I will say it again for all my Kremlin readers and Washington DC readers; “Trusting the west is like trusting a rattlesnake, who you just woke up, to give you a sweet hug and kiss!” It just will not happen and poisoned will be your new life. The west lies, lies, lies, lies and did I say lies?

I remember many years ago reading this statement by Crazy Horse/Tashunkewitko, Oglala;

“We did not ask you white men to come here. The Great Spirit gave us this country as a home. You had yours. We did not interfere with you. The Great Spirit gave us plenty of land to live on, and buffalo, deer, antelope and other game. But you have come here; you are taking my land from me; you are killing off our game, so it is hard for us to live. Now, you tell us to work for a living, but the Great Spirit did not make us to work, but to live by hunting. You white men can work if you want to. We do not interfere with you, and again you say why do you not become civilized? We do not want your civilization! We would live as our fathers did, and their fathers before them.”

Have you figured something out yet?

The west is made up of white men and everywhere white man goes, he causes death…

Russians, while white, have learned many lessons the hard way and one of those lessons has to be that the west will take their land and resources and destroy her people…

Learn Russia! Learn and save yourselves, for you are the enemy and the evil that the west wants to destroy, for you refuse to walk their path and therefore you must die…

We are raised to…

I looked around and see thousands of people having fun and minding their own business for the most part. Life is good and people just want to have fun. Get past the initial squabbling of who gets to lay in the sun to bake and where they bake at and everyone is happy…

Then it hit me…

Many of us are raised to respect other people and no matter what race color or creed they are we respect that…

Many of us are raised to have morals…

Many of us are raised to have ethics…

Many of us are raised to help others in need…

Many of us are raised with family values…

Many of us are raised with all the necessary things to have a good life and to keep out of trouble…

We are raised to live a good life and yet…

What happened to the world?

For as I watch people from all over the world in my travels; I see the same moral base, same respect for others, same belief in a god and the same desire for peace and happiness…

So what has happened and why do we allow a few to destroy the happiness of a vast populace of humans?

Time to clean up the pond scum…

Cool Nights, Beautiful Mornings and Smoking Hot Afternoons: Egypt…

This morning I watched the Russians and Germans fight over places to sunbathe by the sea. Germans and Russians are so much alike and when you read comments by UK people, they always mention if Germans and Russians are predominant at the resort. It makes a huge difference to some people. I actually pick resorts because of the Russians and Germans. If they are happy with the place, then that is the place to go…

This resort is 80% Russian and 18% German and 2% whatever. Americans? No! Britons? No! Europeans in general? No! They are not here and that is what makes a great place to me. I realized this trip that I travel accordingly to keeping as far from the western mindset as possible. I bring enough western mindset with me to cause issues and I do not need anyone else with more western mindset. I promise you I am now after all these years, half Russian and half American and leaning toward the Russian mindset in sensitiveness…

Oops, back to the German/Russian fight; At 5:30am I watched all these woman run to the beach with towels to save the best spots for sun worshiping. I was going to go swimming early, but became worried about getting beat to death by Russian and German women, who will smack you down for getting in their way. I, like any good man, stands far back as women mark their territories and such. Heaven forbid someone trying to steal their spot later… 🙂

It is great to watch; While two women fought over a single spot, another woman sneaked behind them and with at least 15 towels, covered 15 spots, while they screamed at each other. I proceeded to escape quickly, before the two demons discovered that the places they would want also were gone. I heard the roars as I looked at my sleeping cutie-pie in bed. Sveta really is a wonderful girl…

Sipping coffee and writing a post in Egypt; just plain cool and nice…

Yes, the mornings are cool and delightful, the afternoon sun just fries your brain and then night is a dream and allows your imagination to play with the shadows and dark corners…

Gotta go, lunch time is coming and the food is very good. Then time to swim when the sun is going down. We swim twice a day and let the lessor intelligent fry themselves to death all day. I discovered that most people look like lobsters today, the ones that came with us on Sunday. We will turn lobster slowly and not instantly…

Egypt and the Red Sea…

What a wonderful place we are staying in Egypt. The food is fantastic, the accommodations are perfect for Sveta and I and the water is crystal clear. So clear that depth is an illusion and it is therefore much deeper than it looks. Fish are in abundance, so much so, that I can not remember when I have seen so many varieties of sea life…

Sveta is getting ready to go swimming again and I decided to stay in the room. I have to be careful and I have already over done it. But oh man, I want to go jump in the Red Sea like a teenager and swim with the fishes. The fish of all colors and types just jump out of the water constantly and show their beautiful sparkling scales as if to say, “Look at me, I am the prettiest!”

I think that I am going to have to purchase a snorkeling outfit.  I have always wanted to do that in perfect water, but never had water clear long enough to snorkel for fun. Snorkeling is second only to swimming here and I want to try. I will let everyone know if I do. I have scuba dived and used a snorkel in my past, but never snorkeled in crystal clear water like this is here… (Don’t count pool water!)

I will try to upload some images, but the internet is pathetic at best. I will see how it works out later. The image above is one of what I had in a library I keep of images. Though we are seeing a lot of those fish in the image…

When I settle better I will write a better article, but I will say this, “Egypt at the border crossing is a pathetic mess, but once settled in, it became a beautiful place to be!”

Have a nice day for we sure are…

1908 Video of Moscow Russia…

Found this fantastic Video on Moscow. Moscow, Russia in 1908…

I posted this video many years ago, in fact it was the first video that I ever posted on Windows to Russia and I found it while I was looking at some broken posts. I decided to revamp this wonderful video and bring it forward. It is just too precious to leave buried…

That coffee was delicious this morning and Sveta and I are getting ready to leave Russia for two weeks. I will be posting from Egypt as we swill the seas and soak up some sun rays…

Another tidbit of information; I have been living in Russia for officially 8 years now. On October 10th of every year is the anniversary and I smile big and strong every time I remember that I live in Russia. Many times it seems like I have lived nowhere else and I guess after 8 years that would be true in away…

Have a nice day, for I sure will and the next time I post, we will be traipsing around Egypt…

Maybe we need to rethink our taking over the world strategy: Seems to be broken…

America or called United States, has three items of vast importance (sarc) that we export to China; soybeans/grains, trash and aircraft. Soy to feed the hogs and trash to reclaim resources. Even the Chinese empty our land of resources through our trash, as we look around with blinders on, like we can afford it…

Top US Exports to China, 2012 (Source: US International Trade Commission via Congressional Research Service)

(Figures in US$ millions)

Oilseeds and grains: 16,546

Waste and scrap: 9,526

Aerospace products and parts: 8,367

Top China Exports to US, 2012 (Source: US International Trade Commission via Congressional Research Service)

(Figures in US$ millions)

Computer equipment: 68,815

Communications equipment: 51,857

Miscellaneous manufactured commodities: 32,644

RL33577

Now this was 2012 and the situation has gotten worse not better. The Chinese see us as Hogs and utilize our waste products as fertilizer for their economy. The Chinese also are making their own aircraft now so the days of buying Boeing are about done…

Mister warmonger of America says, “…And this is why WW3 is necessary. If the west doesn’t stop Russia and China (and the other BRICS) we will not be able to stop them. The bigger picture is the limitation of economic growth and population growth. The world’s wealth must be confined to the west and the rest of the world’s population must be dramatically reduced to insure our safety…”

And these wackos are serious…

Did you know? How about a tidbit of interesting news! China will now export cars to America, these cars are well made and very good. I see them in Russia all the time and they will change the market, just like the Japanese did many years ago…

I believe that the point of stopping (WW3 or not) them (the world) is past and the blinders have been on too long for America to see or care. We just stumble through life as Zombies. Zombies fed by the government. Besides, if we don’t have what it takes to keep up, we deserve to lose…

Seriously people we are world known now as the breadbasket, an air hangar, and a garbage heap…

More serious; what happened to us?

The powerhouse of the world to the scrap king of the world. You just can not make this stuff up…

* * * * * * * * * *

There is only one thing that matters to U.S. shoppers: price, price, price, and price. If there’s a product (A) that costs ten dollars and was made in China and product (B) that costs eleven dollars and was made in America, even if the job provided was to the next door neighbor whose kids play with the consumer’s kids, that US consumer will buy the ten-dollar product…

Add to that, the lousy education system that makes American workers dumb as rocks, who can not work at high-tech jobs; add to that the sense of entitlement that prevents Americans from taking tedious, repetitive jobs on assembly lines, and you have what happened to consumer electronics decades ago: we no longer make anything in the United States to do with consumer electronics. Nothing. We’ve gotten away with this for a while, but we’re on our way to being a country that was once wealthy enough to pay others to make our stuff , when we’re no longer wealthy enough to do that, we’ll have lost the skill set to make our own stuff. It’s going to be a rude awakening…
