On Wednesday, the Vedomosti newspaper reported that a source from the state atomic energy corporation, Rosatom, confirmed it had completed a tender process to keep its computers ticking over. Management is said to have handed the contract to provide software for 87 of its separate subsidiaries to Russian developer MyOffice. The deal, commentators say, is worth 200 million rubles ($2.7 million), although the maximum value of the contract could be far higher. The state agency had reportedly previously explored the prospect of acquiring Microsoft’s programs at a total cost of two billion rubles (nearly $30 million). However, the requirement to secure a license from the US Department of Commerce for the sale of technology to some specific foreign entities was said to have held up the deal.

The United States has demonstrated to the European Union who is the boss by its demands regarding the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says in an interview with the RBC TV Channel…..”It is always possible to designate something as an excuse in order to shift the relations in the direction you need. Here it’s not as if they want to worsen relations. I don’t think this is their main goal. They want to bolster their self-esteem. Now they begin to act in the same way as the US, including displaying the mentality of the exceptional cohort of states,” the top diplomat said.He pointed out that the hiding of facts from the Russian side which could have supported accusations directed at Moscow began long before the Ukrainian crisis. “One can recall the year 2007 – the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko at a hospital. There was some kind of a coroner’s inquest. Then this process was declared ‘public’ which by George Orwell’s logic in fact in Great Britain means a ‘secret process’ with no investigative results of security services allowed to be made available within its framework,” he explained. “You know, these are systemic problems,” he continued.

I wonder if this single shot version will work as good? Like Sveta said, “You could have been a test(er) monkey for this new trial? But you had the first shot!”

I am happy and I do not want to be a test monkey! Actually Sveta did not say that I would be a “test monkey”, I did, but it sounds better….Sveta is too sweet of a gal to insult a monkey like that… 😉

International clinical trials of the Sputnik Light single-dose vaccine have begun in the Russian capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote in a blog post on Thursday. “Today, we are launching international clinical trials of the Sputnik Light vaccine. The new vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Institute is meant to eliminate the main disadvantage of the classic Sputnik V – the presence of two components administered to patients at an interval of several weeks. To get vaccinated with Sputnik Light, a person will need only one visit to an outpatient clinic. Immunity will begin to develop a week later, and it will reach the maximum level four weeks after the vaccination,” the mayor wrote.

Waking alive and not in your nightmare is amazing:

Ever woke in the morning and had to tell yourself that it was just a bad dream? I do all the time!

I have so many skeletons in my past, so many deaths, so many moments of acting like you are indestructible, so many wrong doings even if the doings were not your idea and according to the way you live and feel…

This morning slapped me down one last time as I woke and when I sat upon the edge of the bed, I actually told myself out loud, “It was naught but a dream, the past is the past, you will pay one day, but not today!”

The problem is that I get off easy by calling it a nightmare:

Yet, 99% of my nightmares happened in real life and they are actually just a rehash of my life. So, I got up, realized that Sveta is at her sons seeing the grandkids and I was alone in the flat. It was -20 outside, snowing like crazy and I sat down at the computer to see what was happening in the world?

One thing that clears the cobwebs of the past is a cup of coffee:

Coffee helps push aside everywhere I have ever been and everything I ever did for the USA. All in the name of democracy. A democracy that has never been! A democracy that is a fake as the facade of a mask at Halloween!

Yet here I am:

Sitting in Russia, writing again and thinking again and still alive one more day….I have been shot, stabbed, brain tumor, multiples heart attacks, diabetes and several other tidbits of pain and no gain type of stuff. My body is so beaten up, that when even the weather changes and it starts to rain and or snow? Ten minutes before it actually snows, I have to sit down, or fall down from dizziness. I tell Sveta 24 hours what the weather will do. I am like a walking weather machine…

Every broken bone in my past, every injury, every stab wound, every every every trauma to my body talks to me and at those times, they are worse than nightmares. At least in my nightmares, I do not feel pain…

Except the pain of when I relive killing someone over and over again. Killing someone for my country, that I found out was a false lie every time. I think that the lies are the worst part and I see everyday that the lies will never stop, as they are spewed like confection at a parade by the west…

I should never ask myself, “Why do I feel messed up at times?”

Pretty easy to see why? Yet it still is no ones issue but mine and I will live with it till I die…

It is good waking up alive:

For, I get to tell the world one more thing that is going on and I get to hug Sveta a few more times…

I have said, “Sveta and Russia have saved my life!”

Lavrov on Potential Russia-EU Break-up: Rift Has Been Growing for Years at Brussels’ Initiative

The foreign minister has previously stated that Moscow is prepared to end the relationship with the European Union if the bloc introduces sanctions that put the Russian economy at risk.

The breakup between Russia and the European Union has been going on for a long time, with the bloc being the initiator, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.

“In general, it is clear for any person that takes at least some interest in the situation in Europe that the breakup has been going on for many years, as the EU consistently keeps severing ties,” Lavrov said at a press conference, held after talks with Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto.

According to the Russian minister, the 2014 coup in Ukraine was a tipping point, as the EU “in fact showed it could do nothing with the agreement, which the authorities and the opposition reached just ahead of the coup and which was signed by Germany, France and Poland”.

The minister then added that Russia-EU contacts can now be described as sporadic. “The contacts between the Russian foreign minister and high representatives, Josep Borrell and his predecessor Federica Mogherini, are mainly dedicated to situational talks about Syria, the Iranian nuclear program or some other international situation rather than reviews of the relations with the EU because there are almost no relations to speak of,” Lavrov underlined. “In other words, we meet from time to time depending on certain interests, primarily from Brussels. We are not imposing ourselves, we are ready to consider any issue which can be of mutual interest, but in any case the meetings that take place from time to time do not mean that there are relations,” he added.

I have been talking about this and watching this lately. I suspect that Putin will soon step forward and have something to say very soon….for Lavrov was treated very badly and lied to in and by the last EU meeting with Josep Borrell. We have a saying, “Straw that broke the camels back”…
